Okay, so its not much of a vacation... The salukis have been homebodies of late. The only real trips have been Bally's trip to Atlanta in July with "Uncle" Don, but that isn't really worth talking about. "Aunt" Bonnie did have a good time fattening Bally up on frozen Bil-Jac. Yum!

Bally stands by the shore of Lake Oak Grove. The lake is fairly near the house and right behind Mom's favorite coffee house, Beano Brothers.

Lake Oak Grove is in the middle of a neighborhood and is popular with people from all around the area. There are always lots of people there riding bikes, roller blading and walking other dogs. Both salukis love to try to chase bikes, a good reason to have strong leashes!

All of a sudden, both salukis have developed a facination with the lake. Even Miss I-Won't-Get-My-Feet-Wet Eris has been wading in. Maybe next time they will actually go for a swim.
