Snow days past
I don't get it. Snow days used to be a thing that everybody wants to have. To be stuck indoors where its warm with a hot cup of chocolate. Today was one of those days where you don't want to go outside because of the blizzard. Today I woke up to do what just about any non-browner student would do on a day like this, look out the window and hope there was snow. Of course there was plenty of snow, infarct, at the moment I was positive it was going to be a snow day.
So I got up turned on the radio and ate a bowl of porige (If I could I would spell it right.) I was plesently reminded that the radio station I listen to was on the road to become bankrupt, since that newer, better and more popular radio station opened up. So they tried to stall the bus and school cancellations with a few songs, but they couldn't steal lit forever.
Much to my dismay, after roughly twenty minutes of waiting, I found out that my school wasn't closed and the bus lines are still running. So I angerly walk to my room, and catch a snippent of my school on the radio. They cancelled on bus line out of three heading to my school. Just one, and it wasn't the busline that I, or half of the population of the school was on for the matter.
Fast forward an hour and you find me on my bus, typing up this page, while my bus driver attempts to recover from the slushy fishtail's he doing. I think the fishtales are because of the fact that the snow plows probabbly got a snow day.
Thanks to the principal at our sschool, who happens to be a asshole, wants us all to risk it and come to school. Even my bus dirver ssays this denfinitly not a day for school.
Now is it just me or is that principal a real ass? There is about a 40 foot view distance, a soft, snowcovered roads, and a lineup of about fifety cars ahead of my bus, making on fishtail, a huge potential for a hellish crash. Both lanes on the road are packed, which is rare for a small town rural area.
I'm thinking a few of my school teachers arn't going to make it in today, because they live in london. So yay, my school teachers get a day off, but the kids who go to the school don't.
At Least I'm not walking...
