Christians Burn Harry Potter And Porn In Offering To God
“IT is allowed for Harry Potter to be taught in our schools, but not pamela anderson porn the Bible,” says International House of Prayer pastor James Crawford during the Shreveport Regional Unity of Faith Revival.
Pastors from “several denominations and races” ripped pages from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and pages from a pornographic magazine, tossed them into a pit and set fire the lot on fire.
“As I tore the pages, I felt a generational curse of immorality and perversion breaking off my family,” says one Adriane Banks. “I felt it.”
“We need healing. We’ve got pornography, abortion, murder, violence on the rise in Shreveport,” Crawford went on. “The focus is making sure we can do everything free xxx porn videos we can for our city as ministers.”
“I am not a doom and gloom preacher, I am a truth seeker. But we are at the threshold of dark days,” Crawford told the congregation.
John Valdez, of Bossier City Four Square Church hears the call: “We have a supernatural enemy, and we need to be unified to fight. … We have the same mission.”
Burn Harry Potter by all means, but isn’t a burnt offering “one that is consumed by fire, and regarded as ascending to God while being consumed”?
If so, it might be best to toss a fig leaf into the fiery pit…

After they have burned all the books, shall they get their act together, or blame something else?

‘Bossier City Four Square Church hears the call’ Bossier but not bossiest yet, phew?
I’m sure that they had to do lots of ‘research’ beforehand, the pastors from “several denominations and races” who dramatically ripped and burned the Harry Potter book and ‘pages from a pornographic magazine’. You can just imagine it all those spellbinding naked bodies in the flames
‘Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn, and caldron bubble.’
Thrilling and JK (and the pornographers) still get their royalties, unless they were library books

Dairy,
‘The Holy Bible’: a fictional compilation for adults and children alike, seems also to be behind a lot of the trouble in the world. A sare other religious documents and people’s interpretation of their contents.
I think that these Potter’n'porn burners have got a grip of themselves, but it’s probably impolite to name the part of eskimo porn their anatomy that they’ve got a grip of.

I agree Mic - religion in general seems to cause most of the upset wherever in the world you go.
..and yes, it is probably impolite to refer to them as a bunch of w**kers, but hey, that’s the beauty of free speech!!

As amusing as these articles are, they also make me uncomfortable at times, because people have a tendency to overgeneralize and start patronizing everyone who believes in the Bible you tube of porn (or whichever other religious text an article happens to mention). We could all learn to have a little more respect for people with different views than our own. Everyone has their beliefs, whether it be a belief in a higher power or not. Let’s cut it out with the “religion is the cause of all the world’s problems,” talk. Many people would make the argument that it’s a lack of faith that often causes problems… it’s all a matter of perspective.

They burn books that contain sex, violence, etc. The Bible contains all of these and more. If that croco porn is what it takes to burn a book they should be burning the Bible as well. They call themselves Christians, but they act like Nazi’s.
And how do they know what these books contain. Do they read them and watch the porn movies? If so then they are already Sinners. Maybe they should throw themselves into the fire to purify themselves. That would solve alot of problems.
They need to take a passage from their Bible. “Judge not less Ye be Judged”. Hypocrisy and Religion go hand in hand.

Excuse me, but not ALL Southerners are oppressive idiots. Now, to address the post…
Do you know what bothers me most about people who do this sort of thing with Harry Potter? They’ve never read the story! It’s about love, redemption, and what evil can do when you play around with it. It’s closer to the Bible than they know or care to investigate.
I AM a Christian, I love HP, I’m married, in my 30’s, and have 2 kids of my own. I do not believe HP has any real negative regarding Christianity (unless someone thinks pursuing actual witchcraft or “dark arts” might be “fun”). It’s a STORY!
I am certain what I’d say to these book-burning sensationalists: Stay off my side!

Once again, I am watching neo-nazism take form in the name of so called Christians. When I lived in Pensacla Florida, for over 18 years (I am originally from the Buffalo NY area) I watched as various religious factors gathered to burn Barbie dolls, GI Joes and the Wizard of Oz at a bonfires.
I watched as books were pulled off of school and public libarary book shelves because they were considered pornagraphic, racist, satanic… some of these were The Wizard of Oz, Huckleberry Finn, Richard Scarey’s Alphabet Book (must not depict the letter P as a Pig dressed as a Policeman), the Scarlet Letter, and more.
I have also watched members of the KKK throw black ragdolls into fires, and burn crosses in the name of THEIR beliefs.
I have been witness to radical Muslims slamming planes filled with passengers into the World Trade Center killing thousands in the name of their religion?
Dark times indeed; the darkest of them were created by the Catholic Church ( the church in which I was raised in) as THEY too free hot porn videos burned books, and decided to dictate what the people could learn and hear… They imprisoned, tortured, and destroyed in the name of religion.

Oh no! Here we go again! What bothers me the most is that these people don’t even know what the book is about. The Harry Potter books/movies are about love, friendship, racism, and the fight against good and evil. Furthermore, it demonstrates the rewards of doing what’s right as oppossed to doing what’s easy. I do not see how the Harry youtube free porn Potter books/movies are being viewed as pure evil. Sure, there are evil characters in the book but there are evil people in the bible. Where is the logic? Here is my take on the whole idea. I live in Gloster, LA and I am proud to admit that at 30 years old I am a huge Harry Potter Fan. My children love the books and the movies. Personally I don’ t find the stories any different from some of the fairy tales that I grew up reading like The WIZARD of Oz, Cinderella, Snow White etc. Infact there really isn’t a fairy tale that I can think of that doesn’t have witches and wizards in it. Should it be allowed on a school reading list yes I think so if it encourages our children to read. As for the Bible being taught in school that will probably never happen besides isn’t that what we go to church for? Don’t you think that if we drilled the bible into our kids heads 7 days a week 24/7 that eventually they would say enough and loose interest? J.K. Rowling is a genius to have come up with this fairy tale. That is what it is people a Fairy Tale. It wasn’t written to corrupt our children into witchcraft, which by the way I have studied wicca and witchcraft and after reading All 7 Harry Potter Books at least twice I could not finde any references to wicca or true witchcraft in them. None of the spells or encantations in the movies or the books are actually spells. Again this is fiction people. Leave it to the close minded folks in Louisiana to pull such a stupid stunt. Remember a few years back the Dixie Chicks? Hey you know what those girls were right about our president you were just to blind to see it at the time and so now since you were proven wrong and they right you move on to something else that is an even bigger threat a children’s series of books oh God forbid if it encourages our kids to read rather than play the playstation, xbox or computer. This goes to show that we are surrounded by a bunch of hypocrytical morons in the city of Shreveport, well maybe that will explain why no one knows how to drive around here either they are just that stupid.

I guess i dont really understand what you think is going on in the Harry Potter books, but i have yet to see a child who has read the books to grab a pentagram and begin to chant spells in the moonlight. I personally think that it is a wonderful thing that children get into these books. It takes a lot in todays age to pull a child away from a TV long enough to eat let alone sit down and read a book. I have read all 7 of the potter books and i see nothing wrong with them, no hidden messages of “evil” i see that they do show certain points of life such as good always prevails, family, yes i said family, even tho Harry was an orphan he did have a family that loved him, you dont have to be blood related to be family., and friendship. It is a good series free porn vidoes of books if nothing more it teaches imagination, aparently something that a lot of people are lacking, its a book like A Cat in the Hat, something created to entertain, but of free young porn course you never know that scary looking cat could have been the devil in desguise telling children to repent against their parents and join the occult. Maybe we should never teach our children to read that would solve a lot of problems, oh and we had better get rid of the tv you never know what kind of subliminal messaging they send over the air waves, well that also gets rid of all radios music could contain hidden messages as well, i guess the safe way is just to keep our children inside the shelter of our homes and make sure they never get any outside interactment. ITS JUST A BOOK! I will never see your point on banning these books, they are just something to pass the time on a rainy day.

Im a teenager and i have read all the harry potter books and i have to say if J.K. Rowling had not published or even written those books i wouldnt have read and i wouldnt even be a bookworm now if it wasnt for those books. i owe it all to J.K. Rowling. I enjoy ‘fariry tales’ like Lizzie said. If i didnt read those books i wouldnt have the same prespective outlook that I have on life. Yeah these things will always be an issue and everyone will have their opinions get used to it. church is for learning the bible not school. school is for learning things that will eventually get you a job in the community if you want to be a pastor or other church member or whatever go to a school for that or whatever. dont get upset if people dont have the same outlook on life. get over yourself.

With that kind of truth, we would soon return to the dark ages. While these fanatics have a right to their opinion, it is a bit over the top. Perhaps they should all move to afganistan , Iraq, or Iran where religious bigotry and intolerance are a way of life. They would probably fit right in there. They do not even understand the concept of liberty and justice for all.

I would like to point out that the music that most of these “christians” walked down the aisle to at their weddings (”Here comes the bride,” as it were), is the same music used to marry a witch and a donkey in Lohengren, and the other ubiquitous piece (”There goes the bride”) is played after the rape scene in A Midsummer-night’s Dream. So, if something can be sinful in-and-of itslef, then our dear procreating, short-sighted, biblio-conflagrationists began their lives together accompanied by a Witch, an enchanted ass, and a capricious wood-sprite. Sound like good old J.K. has nothing on these folks.
