I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your families!  I certainly treasure the moments I get to spend with family.  With the start of December, it’s hard to believe we’re almost ready for Christmas break!

Supplies Needed

*Many students have filled up their writing journals.  Please send another writing journal to school for your child.

*Wide-ruled loose leaf paper needed!  Thank you for your donations!

Reminder of Spelling Changes
Not all students have been completing the new spelling assignments.  Please remember the following changes:

· Every Monday: write words three times each

· Every Tuesday: write five sentences (one spelling word per sentence)

 

Other Homework Reminders

Remember to practice your math basic facts each night!  Some students are showing good improvements on their basic facts tests and in Excel. 

 

Class Christmas Party (Dec. 20th)
If you haven’t returned the red paper regarding our class Christmas party, and you would like to help, please return that so I can let parents know what to bring!  Thank you for your responses!

             Citizen of the Month

Congratulations to Kensley for earning our November Citizen of the Month!!  She has shown outstanding character traits this year.  She’ll enjoy her field trip in January with the November and December Citizens of the Month.  Who will that be from our class?!
