This Time, With Feeling

There was somebody in the med. bay with her besides Seven and Tyr. She knew it. Trance looked down at Harpers unconscious body in desperation. Probably- hopefully- it was just Q Jr. back to bother her. She didnt want to have to face any of the other Q right now, especially not when she had more important things to do. However, she spared a glance up at her surroundings... and gasped when she saw the two Qs in the corner. She couldnt look away, such was the tension of the moment. She only looked away when she heard a violent beeping from somewhere to her left.
Tearing her gaze away from the omnipotent beings, she finally looked at the monitors surrounding Harper. One- his heart monitor, she noticed- was flashing red lights in warning. At the same moment, she also vaguely registered that Tyr and Seven were now standing close by, wanting to do something to help. She ignored them. They could do nothing to help either her or Harper. What she needed were the nanoprobes.
Seven! How much longer for the nanothings?
The reply came a fraction of a second later. Ten minutes.
   Andromeda! Can you stabilize him?
   I believe so.
   Do it!
The monitor suddenly quieted down. Trance, breathing a sigh of relief, collapsed into a chair that sat beside the bed. She looked at Tyr and Seven, managing a weak smile.
He had me worried there for a second.
Neither of her companions smiled in response. Instead, they looked at each other with something that resembled a badly covered over expression of relief. Trance smiled again as she closed her eyes and concentrated on her breathing. She knew that Seven was still learning about Humanity, and thus about Nietzcheans, but the fact that both she and Tyr seemed worried about Harper said a lot for both him and them. If Harper were awake, this would almost be a perfect universe.
Of course, all beings other than the Q acknowledge the fact that the universe was never, is not currently, nor will it ever be perfect. A minute later, the monitor started beeping again.
