Ship, what are they doing? Tyr asked, watching the picture of Harper and Kathryn on Andromedas security monitor.
They seem to be building a generator out of spare parts stowed in my cargo bays.
   A generator? What for?
Apparently the generator will become the energy source for shields that they will be fitting me with later. The image of the woman on the front monitor showed very little surprise that the two would partake in such a project. Frankly, I dont know why she didnt come up with the idea earlier.
Perhaps her mind was preoccupied with coming here, dropping in on Dylan, being put in the brig, then being released to explore this universe, Rev commented from the opposite side of Command.
Tyr shot Rev a slightly annoyed look but decided to turn the conversation to another track. I still dont trust her.
And nobody expects you to. We have known her mere hours; far too short a time for you to discern whether or not her intentions are sincere.
And yet Dylan trusts her. Andromeda tilted her head slightly in confusion.
Yes, well we have known since we met him that he is at heart a good-natured and trusting individual.
Perhaps too trusting, Tyr muttered half under his breath.
Perhaps, Rev answered. We shall see. For now, I prefer to believe that we have met one of those rare individuals who will be completely honest with us.
Believe what you wish, Magog. For my part, I will keep watch. If she so much as rolls her eyes... Tyrs voice trailed off, his unfinished threat hanging in the air.
Then I will have my bots put her back in the brig, Andromeda finished.
And do what? Let her off on the next planet so that she can gather more power and use her instantaneous transport technology to take over or kill us? I hope that what those two are building isnt a type of bomb or some other device to get rid of us.
I trust Harper, Andromeda answered, her usually composed features taking on a look of anger. No matter what Kathryn is helping him to build, either he or I will see if it is a device that could be used to take over before it is complete.
For your sake, and consequently for our own, I hope that you are able to. Tyr turned around and stalked off of Command, leaving Rev and Andromeda to watch the security monitor in silence.
