A day to remember
If I should tell you about one day which I remember the most, then it going to be the 11 of September, yes I was there. I guess you remember about what I said in the begining of this story, if not then I say it again; It was hard to take a good bye from my parents, becuse you don't know what happen on a year. I was scared this day, only because I didn't thought I going to see my parents again.
The day began with I was sitting in the morning to reading the newspaper on the Internet and Easton was sitting to look on the morning kids program on the TV. I thought I read about a new silly computer game, but after a while I understood it was on real. I got scared and my body shaked a lot. After I had read the newspaper the door flied up with a bang and in came the host dad, He only said; Pack your things and we get other here now!

After a while came the mum  and Graham "the big guy" through the door too. The mum had picked up him from the school. The mum said; you could stay here if you want to, but we going escape on the boat. But the dad told her; No way he going with us, we need an Au Pair when this is over! So I went with them. It was only a couple of promblems, which showed up.

1. The roads was blocked of cars, but my host dad did like everybody did this day. They drove on the wrong side on the road and everything. They only wanted to come away from Washington DC there the airplane had crashed in the Pentagon.
2. The boat was standing on the army base, which the dad worked on and you couldn't get in. But the dad lie for the gate guards and told them; I going to get my mum which is laying on the army base hospital. They trusted him and let us thorugh. But we headed to the boat after that.

3. We got out on the boat and and headed south out from Washington Dc. After one hour the boat broke down and took in water very fast. it was a gasket in the engine, which had broke. We needed to contact the coast guard for help. They came to help us, but they even told us; The water is shut down, because of safety.


This is the memory of the firemen which, died in the World Trade center.
4. The coast guard gave us a plug to the engine and then they pulled us in to the nearest marina. That only one thing, the marina was a Navy marina. So when they had left us there, came four cars and one boat with army people to ask us what we did on there marina. We told them that we needed to fix our boat and then get to another marina. So they were standing there, to we had fix the boat and get away from the place.

We stayed on the another marina for one night and we slept on the boat that night. The day after we went home again, only because of the boat. Then the army was on full alarm, so we didn't want to disturb when the water was shut. If they not the army had been on full alert, then we had stay a couple of days more out on the water.

This time was a hard time and I got shared a lot. I got so shared so I didn't eat so much on the day, so I lost in weight. After a month my real parents came over to visit me and wanted to have me with them home. They thought I had get anorexia. But I wanted to stay, because I didn't want to leave the wonderful family which helped me to get back to a normal life. It took like two month to get my old body back. This time was a hard time and big thing for USA. But for me, it was only a little bit which happen on the whole year in USA like an Au Pair.

I hope I not had scared you now. No take the chance and go to another country to be an Au Pair you too; Because this is a thing, which i wish everyone had a chance to do in their life. I could talk in hour about my time in USA, but I need to stop somewhere. It is only one thing more I want to say now and that is; Thanks Cultrual Care Au Pair, my friends and my wonderful host family for the time in USA.
