Why we love Bush

A glimsp into many peoples rationalizations

Im so glad that we now have a president who has not fallen to the depth of these immoral fallacies. I know that Bush is an honest and trustworthy individual.  This is obvious because in his charismatic speeches he always talks about moral actions so passionately and he uses words like god, patriotism, and justice.  He always seems to discuss the important issues that plague our society; like abortion, and gay rights.  I know Ive been to church and they seem to support the same view that Bush does, so he must be very principled.  In fact he is so patriotic and believes so strongly in the well being of the world, that he went to war even before it could be passed through the UN or congress with the purest of intentions so that individuals in other countries wouldnt suffer anymore not to mention all those weapons of mass destruction an I think something to do with 9/11 and Osama Binladen but then again I never hear much about him anymore.  In addition he even gives back some nice tax returns (although at the expense of the national deficit) that are stimulating our economy just like how Reagan who used the same principle worked so well....(ha) Yup I must say we have a great president.

Ok so maybe I laid it on a little thick but I would hope that most of you realize I was being a little sarcastic. The fullest extent of hypocrisy is at hand and individuals cannot see through his facade, they seem so blinded by what he claims and what he says that many dont even question his rational. Bush is a very smart man indeed (of sorts), he creates a image that will allow him to carry out the parties objectives while keeping it deemed justified by the means of religion.  He loads up speeches with such emotional appeal that those who are easily influenced and swayed take it to heart. Those who are most easily influenced by propaganda are trditionaly  those who are very religious (to extent that they forget to question), older people who believe they are holding on to old fashion values, and those who are partially naive. The indidivuals who recognize this as the charade that it is it are labeled ironically as unpatriotic. So with the war "justified" on the basis of religion and patriotism Bush himself has covered his ass from any outside criticism. But is the war patriot and is itmoral?A true patriotic act is for the benefit of the country without any other motive or incentive; and illegal war with another country instigated without congress or UN approval is far from patriotism.  In addition there is a great deal of evidence of alternate motives that Bush went to war, however I would like to keep speculation out of this.  So any individual that is involved with illegal involving the murder of thousands people with out justification, in American court systems, is usually given the death sentence. However we instead keep him as our president and dont even attempt to impeach him, like the republicans tried to do to Clinton for getting a blow job. Apparently an act of infidelity is much worse than mass murder and war which threatens the safety of each person in this country as well as everyone around the world.
To sum it up, today people do not realize that they have been spoon feed propaganda from all political parties, religions, and even education systems.  They have been programmed not to question but to have complete faith in this system. Having a strong devotion to a concept or notion is a good trait to possess. However when that faith becomes an obstacle in the way of truth, is when you allow your will to be sacrificed.
