Journal - Got home from my drive about 4-and-a-half hours ago. Not too bad considering I didn't know where I was. Still, I got in trouble. Mom's tirade almost prompted me to go driving again. But I forced myself to be civil. I have to. I'm not her favorite person lately.
She walked in on Ashley and me yesterday just after Ashley had gone down on me.
Oops. She was at work when, but Josh called her when Ashley came over. Nosy sneak. I'm not too happy with him. Never have been. Thankfully he and his little macho, know-it-all friends had gone out for the night when I got home.
Found a new road today. Really nice - fun to drive. Can't remember exactly what it's called, but I have a vague idea of where it is. I'll find it again. I have a selective memory, yes, but this is something I know I'll remember.
Summer seems too long. I just want to be back in school where I don't have to deal with my mother. She's never going to let the whole "Dana's a lesbian" deal die down. Josh won't either, but I can deal with him - at school anyway. At home he may be the favorite, but I have the edge at school.
Teachers who had me and then him are always telling me that I am definitly their favorite. I'm "much more creative, much more respective, and - this is just between you and me - much more likely to succeed."
Ha.
I think I'm going to bed now. Maybe I'll sneak out a little later and take a walk. Dad's in Texas on business so he can't catch me. Mom will never wake up.
