Listed below are the Shen Gong Wu combos that seem to create a new Wu.
A combination of the "Sword of the Storm" and "Eye of Dashi." This combo allows the user to fly about at lightning speed causing all forms of wind related mayhem. This combo also allows the following abilities: Flight (Both), Intangibility (Sword of the Storm), Increased Wind Control Ability (Both), Lightning (Eye of Dashi). This combo was first used by Raimundo in a Shen Yi Bu Dare against Tubbimura.
Many Shen Gong Wu, when coupled with the name of the user's Element, gains new powers. For example, the Orb of Tornami can use Ice Power with "Water" spoken after it (later changed to "Ice" in the series), the Star Hanabi sets on fire with the Fire Element, the Eye of Dashi conjures strong winds with the Wind Element, and the Third Arm Sash becomes stone with the Earth Element.
It is assumed that other Shen Gong Wu gain these capabilities as well. For example, a combination of the Denshi Bunny and the Fire Element could turn the user into Fire, instead of electricity.
A combination of the "Ying Yo-Yo" and the "Yang Yo-Yo". This combo allows the user to travel into the Ying-Yang World and leave it without their good and evil chi left behind, which would normally happen if you use them separatly. The Ying Yang bird can go into the Ying-Yang world without the ying or the yang yo-yo.
A combination of the "Fountain of Hui" and the "Eagle Scope". This combo allows the user to see all the world's secrets. This combo allows the following abilities: A different view on the world (Eagle Scope) and to learn new things (Fountain of Hui).
A combination of the "Mosaic Scale" and the "Monarch Wings". This combo allows the user to have the ultimate strength and power of mayhem. The evil power-hungry earwig spirit, Sabeeny, searching for them to find his (apparent) ultimate evil destiny. This combo allows the following abilities: strength (Monarch Wings), destruction (Mosaic Scale), great power and size (both).
A combination of the "Monkey Staff" and the "Tongue of Saiping". It is used by Jack Spicer in the Year of the Green Monkey. He summoned an army of green monkeys. Although Chase Young had the Tongue of Saiping, the monkeys considered Jack their leader. This combo allows the following abilities: call monkeys(Tongue of Saiping), control an army of green monkeys(both), transform yourself in a monkey (Monkey Staff). It is technically not a combination, as, Chase summoned the green Monkeys and told them to follow Jack, the year of the green monkey just means the time when Monkey Power is most powerful.
The reversing mirror is a Shen Gong Wu which can be used with any other to perform the opposite of what the Shen Gong Wu would normally do. For example, the Two-Ton Tunic would become as light as a feather.
A combo of the "Serpent's Tail" and the "Reversing Mirror". This combo is very destructive as it is capable of turning Wuya, an Ancient Heylin Sorceress, back into her fleshy self, as she was reduced to a ghost and trapped in a magical puzzlebox by Grand Master Dashi 1500 years ago. This combo also has an interesting way of working as it can also can be able to bring Wuya back to fleshy form without her full powers. It was used twice so far (Raimundo and Chase Young). The combo allows the following ability: The Serpent's Tail makes the user ghost-like and since if it was reversed it would make a ghost human.
