"I think my favorite [song off of Everyday] is a song called When The World Ends. Me and Carter like it the most. Carter and I just obsess about that song a little bit. It's just a real funky little optomistic end of the world kind of song."

"When the World Ends is a tough song to play. I'm going crazy trying to learn that song. It's the groove, because the guy that's singing is so laid back, but the guy who's playing guitar, and the drums and everything are so funky and tight. I can't play that whole thing but that [verse]. I don't know, the rhythm is too hard. It's just getting me crazy. But I'll get it right one of these days, I'll just have to keep practicing."

"When the World Ends is my favorite. It's funky, it's so funky! And it's got this nasty drum groove. Carter's a badass on the drums, and it's just a nasty tune. And the weirdest chord changes in it, but they don't seem that weird because we put them in sensible places. But you know these little half steps all over, right in between, and it works nicely. I like it a lot. That's my favorite song. Also, because it's about our eminent demise."
