Three Unique Races:

You can control any of three different

species, each with unique units,

technologies, attributes, and abilities

Protoss

There are many units within the Protoss species. Each of these units have unique attacking capabilities
Ground Units:

Zealots(warrior)
Dragoons(mechanized warrior)
Dark Templars(stealth assassin)
Reavers(heavy assault crawler)

Air Units:

Scout(fast air fighter)
Corsair(elite aerial fighter
Carrier(command strike crusier)

Terran

Like the Protoss species, there are many units within the Terran race.

Ground Units:

Marine
Firebat trooper
Ghost intelligence agent
Medic
Siege Tank
Goliath

Air Units:

Wraith Fighter
Behemeth BattleCrusier
Valkyrie Missile Frigate

Zerg

The Zerg species also has many unique units

Ground Units:

Zergling(light warrior)
Hydralisks(medium warrior)
Ultralisk(heavy warrior)
Lurker(heavy defense warrior)

Air Units:

Mutalisk(medium figher)
Guardian(heavy ground attacker)
Devourer(heavy air attacker)
