In a huge battle royal, Mr.Sex Appeal made his debut in an impact. While
fighting hard in the rumble, he was eliminated by Kid Apollo.
~ FIRST MATCH ~
( MSWA - Smithers Wv - Tag Team Match w/ Scott McComas vs Danny Ray & Punchy
Magee )
In a hard fought battle, Eric Steel and Scott McComas where cheated out of a
victory. As the two veterans Punchy Magee, and Danny Ray, kept the rookie Eric
Steel in for most of the match. Using illegal tactics to wear him down. Eric
would fight back, then get double teamed or cheated upon. Finally Eric was
able to make the tag to McComas you came in cleaning house, but was powdered in
the eyes by Danny Ray. With McComas out of the ring, Eric was double teamed and
pinned.
( XMCW- Nitro Wv, 4-Way Tag w/ Jota Ese vs Forsaken vs Lynch Boys vs Furious
Foundation )
With a crazy, high flying, hard hitting opening that set the tone for the
match, you knew things where gonna get rough. Palanchas evey where before the
match started, that even saw Deacon hit Steel with a cross body from the apron.
Deacon then took Steel to the inside of the ring and went for a bulldog, where
Steel countered, and caught Deacon in a choke slam. The match then officially
got underway as JC Lynch and Bret Sharp started things out. After knocking
Brett around, JC was show booting while BS tagged in Cecil. Cecil hit the quick
roll up to eliminate the Lynch Brothers. Eric Steel then came in and cleaned
house on Cecil, reversing a clothesline into the Last Kiss ( stunner ) Cecil
then went to the eyes and tagged in Brett Sharp. Brett then used illegal tactics,
and got Steel into the corner. As Sharp went to the top for the big 10 count
eye poke, Steel reversed and hit a sit out power bomb on Sharp, but the pin
was broken up by Cecil. The back and forth match continued, with Steel showing
his power by going toe to toe with both Forsaken members. After some hard
hitting action, which included a superkick from Eric Steel that almost decapitated
The Unholy, it seemed as the Eric Steel and Jota Ese could get the win. That
is until Jota Ese was rolled up and pinned by the Unholy.
~SINGLES DEBUT~
( XMCW - Nitro Wv, vs Deacon B. Furious )
After some bad blood caused before the 4-way tag, Eric Steel was wanting a
piece of DBF. Before the match even got under way though, Steel was jumped by
Brett Sharp and Cecil R. Furious on his way to the ring. DBF then joined in and
it became a 3 on 1 situation. Eric Steel was then rolled back into the ring,
where the match followed. Steel took a brutal beating most of the match, as DBF
used illegal tactics and outside help to gain control. Eric Steel did fight
back though and hit the Bionic Elbow ala Dusty Rhodes, then followed up by the
Deep Throat ( inverted neck snap ) DBF was able to kick out of the pin
attempt, and then regain control with illegal tactics and outside help. In the end
though, DBF went for his Cardinal Syn finisher, but Eric Steel fought his way
out of it. Then nailed DBF with the Last Kiss ( Stunner ), a groggy Eric Steel
made it to his feet after a bit, and saw Brett Sharp on the ring apron. Steel
nailed Sharp knocking him off the ring, but then turned right into DBF's
Cardinal Syn.
HARDCORE MATCH
( XMCW - Nitro Wv, 4-way match vs Jota Ese vs Phenom vs The Ninja )
In what was a brutal match, that saw Eric Steel get busted open after a
bulldog onto a road sign. The Ninjas nailing both Eric Steel and Jota Ese with
palancha chops. A brutal sit out powerbomb by Eric Steel onto The Ninja, and Eric
Steel almost caving The Ninja's face in with a kendo stick, while Ninja was
in the tree of whoa. But in the end it was Phenom's night was both Eric Steel
and The Ninja were eliminated at the same time. Phenom had Eric Steel in a
standing inverted leg lock, while also having the Ninja in the Gorri special, and
Eric Steel also having the Crippler Cross Face put on him by Jota Ese. Steel
and the Ninja both gave up, and second later Phenom had choked Jota Ese out.
( XMCW - Nitro WV - Eric Steel vs Bad Boy Dallas Micheals )
Mr. Christian had came out and was running down the ring announcer Alanis. He
said some nasty stuff, and Alanis smacked him. Mr. Christian then punched
Alanis, and Eric Steel ran out and drilled Mr. Christian. Mr. Christian then
called for Bad Boy Dallas Micheals to come out. Eric Steel and Bad Boy went back
and forth with Bad Boy cutting every corner he could and Mr. Christian helping
on the outside. In the end, Eric Steel hit the One Night Stand ( Vader Bomb )
on Bad Boy and got the 1.2.3, but after the pin fall Mr. Christian put Bad
Boys arm on the ropes and the match was restarted. Eric Steel grabbed Bad Boy
ready to take him out, when he was low blowed, and then hit with Bad Boys
signature move "The Claim to Fame" ( Baldo Bomb ).
( XMCW - Nitro WV - XIC Battle Royal )
What a match this was only 6 men allowed in at a time. You could be
eliminated by pinfall, over the top rope, and submission. Did I mention that it was
also a hardcore battle royal. I entered about right in the middle, and I was in
the ring with some of the best that XMCW has to offer. I stayed in for along
time, fighting everyone in sight. Until I was pinned after a top rope neck chop
from Zero ( later unmasked as Chance Prophet ).
