Thanks for putting this together, Bruce!
For those who are interested I started at ACC in 1995 as a software lab
intern working under Laura Pierce. I worked part time in the lab until
September 1996 when Derek Rosen hired me on full time as an "Associate
Software Engineer", assisting Shen Loh with SNA testing and development
-- part of the software lab was completely dedicated to testing
IBM/token ring/SNA equipment. I began working on RiverView and became
a
Program Manager in charge of ACC's network management products. I
worked w/ Koral Ilgun and Srinivas Chilakalapudi to develop the "Oasis"
project which became our Java-based network management products "Access
Setup Wizard", "Access Element Manager", etc.. After ACC was acquired
by Ericsson I worked as a Software Development Manager under Chandra
Gunda supervising developers, both in Santa Barbara and in Hyderabad,
India, in AEM, VPSM and other network management products. I worked
for
a year or so with Lisa Ludwig at DBO as Product Marketing Manager for
Access Management Products then returned to Peter Curtin's group as
Product Manager for our network management products.
It's been a real thrill working with all the wonderful engineers at ACC
and getting to travel the world as part of Ericsson.
