| Over one billion people around the world use Mandarin Chinese as their official or main language, be it at home, at school, or even at work and doing business. This is not because of the humongous population of China itself but it is due to the fact that Chinese are scattered and spread around the globe, be it in the U.S. or even in Africa. Take it the "Chinatowns" found in the states of the U.S., Canada, etc. According to published reports by many linguists and scientists around the globe, Mandarin, in the years and decades to come, will be a must-learn language by people all over the world. |
