Whomp's Fortress
Star 1
Chip off Whomp's Block
To get this star go to the top of the fortress where you will meet giant Whomp that is on a rempage. To get the star from him dodge his pound attack and pound the big X on his back three times and he'll give you the star.
Star 2
To the Top of the Fortress
To get this star go to the place where the giant Whomp was, but it will be replaced by a tower. Climb the tower and avoid the Billet Bills for the star which is at the top of the tower.
Star 3
Shoot Into the Wild Blue
The first thing you have to do is find the cannon which is by the water. Next, talk to the pink Bob-omb that is near the cannon and he'll get the cannon ready for you. Then, aim at the platform where the big pole is then you have to aim at the rear pillar. Once you get on to te pillar slide down to pole to claim the star.
Star 4
Red Coins on the Floating Isle
To get this you must collect all eight red coins. The first red coin is on a ledge with moving platforms. To get the second coin climb on top of the moving Whomp thats on the steps. The coin is above his head. The third coin is behind Pirante Plant on you way up the fortress. The forth coin is on a ledge near the third coin. The fifth coin is on the spining board near coin three and four. Coin number six is in a patch of flowers that has two Piranha Plants in it. The last two coins are on floating islands. To get the coins you have to wake up the owl. He is in the tree with a coin above it. You can wake him up by climbing the tree.
Star 5
Fall onto the Caged Island
To get this star wake up the bird and fall onto a floating island with a star on it. If you can't tell which is which take a look at you touch screen.
Star 6
Blast Away the Wall
To get this star climb into the cannon. Aim at the corner of the second wall to the right of cannon and fire. When you hit the wall you will chip off a piece of it revaling a star.
Star 7
Switch Star of the Fortress
This get this star you need Mario. When you start this level don't start climbing the fortress instad take the right path that takes you around the level. Next, Ground Stomp the first brick box on the left. Then a star will appear on the touch screen.
Star 8
100 Coin Star
This star is one of the easyest 100 Coin Stars collect. Every Piranha Plant you punch gives you one blue coin, which is five gold coins. Then, you can collect all the red coins. By the time you collect all the red and blue coins you should just about have 100 Gold Coins.
