Brief Synopsis: Alisia, a young Faerie princess living in our world, has a secret. She can control and communicate with the Dead. To the rest of the world, she is an up-and-coming ballerina-- that is, until she suffers a debilitating injury that closes the doors on her future-- because, as a Death Dancer, she must be able to dance to weave her magic.
She is forced into returning to Faerie, where the vampire Sovereign and her grandmother, Queen Isolde, have brokered a deal to end a centuries-long war between the Fae and the vampires. She is thrust into a mating she does not want, and into direct danger as someone is watching--and waiting -- for her arrival.. Because in her, he will have a powerful tool that will allow him to take over the world, and enslave it. Only she can save the world, and the people she loves -- before it is too late....
Pirouette has undergone a complete metamorphosis. It is to be a standalone with the possibility of a series. In my quest to make it more unique, I changed alot of the worldbuilding, but the original story -- and the magic -- still remains. Details can be found on my blog, Weaver of Words.
