The group is the creation of drummer Danny Stern.  I’ve known and played drums with Danny for years, and it’s so need for me to mention how much he’s influenced my drumming.  I know for a fact I could not be doing what I’m doing now if it were not for all the times we’ve played together and I watched and learned, trying to keep up with him as he played like a human tornado, firing off such incredible riffs.  He freely showed me anything I ever asked, and I’m grateful for it.  I think he’s the best Middle Eastern drummer here in Atlanta.  I’ve always loved his playing, and I’m his biggest fan.
