You can
join the BKC and help preserve caves and cave access in Kentucky
for only $15 a year. Your dues go directly to buy and manage
caves within Kentucky.
Members receive a quarterly newsletter containing news of BKC
projects and activities, and vote in the annual election of
Officers.
The BKC is a non-profit, tax exempt, 501-c-3 corporation and
is governed by Board elected by the membership. It has an annual
members meeting each Spring, as well as quarterly Board meetings
at locations in Kentucky.
Regular membership in the Conservancy is $15 for one year. Annual
dues for each year expire at the end of May in the following
year.
Sustaining memberships are available for those who wish make
regular monthly or quarterly contributions via their credit
or debit cards to help the Conservancy pay its mortgage payments.
This provides a regular and predictable income stream allowing
the Conservancy to purchase caves using loans and mortgages.
Without this kind of steady and dependable support, it would
be much more difficult to carry out the out program of cave
acquisition and protection. For more information on sustaining
memberships, see the Sustaining Contribution page. Click
here to complete a membership form.
Your donations are tax deductible in accordance with IRS rules
for charitable contributions. The BKC is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt
non-profit organization, and donations are normally fully deductible.
Each check or charge on a credit or debit card is treated by
the IRS as a separate donation. This form and your cancelled
checks or credit card statements serve as proof of your donations.
Donations of $250 or more will be acknowledged with a letter
for your files by March 30 of the year following the date of
the donation. |
