You can join the BKC and help preserve caves and cave access in Kentucky for only $15 a year. Your dues go directly to buy and manage caves within Kentucky.
Members receive a quarterly newsletter containing news of BKC projects and activities, and vote in the annual election of Officers.
The BKC is a non-profit, tax exempt, 501-c-3 corporation and is governed by Board elected by the membership. It has an annual members meeting each Spring, as well as quarterly Board meetings at locations in Kentucky.
Regular membership in the Conservancy is $15 for one year. Annual dues for each year expire at the end of May in the following year.
Sustaining memberships are available for those who wish make regular monthly or quarterly contributions via their credit or debit cards to help the Conservancy pay its mortgage payments. This provides a regular and predictable income stream allowing the Conservancy to purchase caves using loans and mortgages. Without this kind of steady and dependable support, it would be much more difficult to carry out the out program of cave acquisition and protection. Your donations are tax deductible in accordance with IRS rules for charitable contributions. The BKC is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt non-profit organization, and donations are normally fully deductible. Each check or charge on a credit or debit card is treated by the IRS as a separate donation. This form and your cancelled checks or credit card statements serve as proof of your donations. Donations of $250 or more will be acknowledged with a letter for your files by March 30 of the year following the date of the donation.
