If Hitler and Osama Bin Ladden had a baby together, it would be the Wholly Rollers. This team is just plain evil. Led by Dr. Evil himself, the man who gives me nightmares when I sleep, Chuck "chuckles" Mcardle, the Unholly Rollers are on many’s lists of favorites to win it all. And why shouldn’t they, you got the Flying Pectoris (my early pick for VP), sharp-shooting Jerrod Anderson, and every team needs a good psycho, which brings us to.................... Mike Decoske. Combine all this with the evil factor, Chuck Mcardle, and good lord how do you stop these guys??? Well DA FLY believes the expression is ‘you’re only as good as your weakest link’, and it don’t get much weaker than Jerome “Coal Train” R0LLins. After being DISmissed(editor note : Dismissed used loosely) from two teams because of an apparent drinking problem, (editor note : I think what fly is trying to say is that Rollins being on the bench for as long as he is, had nothing better to do, but drink the team supply of water )the Unholly Rollers are apparently willing to take a risk on the troubled R0LLins. R0LLins hit rock bottom last season, when after scoring a rare goal, R0LLins drunk off excitement, and 40 ounces of malt (editor note :WATER), proceeded to taunt the other team with a 5-minute presentation of him “riding the bull” with his hockey stick a la Happy Gilmore, before finally passing out at the red line, mumbling something about how he needed to get home to “fold his clothes”. Here’s hoping “Coal Train" gets the help he needs, before becoming a distraction to his team. Actually, here’s hoping the holy assemblage known as the Wholly Rollers blows up in their face. What they’ve done, trying to stack their team, is just wrong. They should feel dirty. But the team is not invincible. Martucci is the only reliable defensemen they have, and offensively speaking Mcardle is a weak passer and Anderson while having over 20 goals last season had only 8 assists, so the question is can this team play together as a team, can they swallow their egos and make the sacrifices needed to win the championship. With a stacked lineup anything less than a championship would be a failure for the Rollers. You know who would bring real unity to this team??? You guessed it, Magdi Saad. Man I miss that guy. Next time your on a rink, tap your stick in respect for Saad,Or just run around screaming. Little did he, or we know he'd be a legend after one year.
