| The latest offering from the producer of Michelle Cacciatore and Matt Pischl, and leader of The Invisible Solid, Folk - Pas is a pared-down, voice-and-guitar affair reminicent of Erickson's first work as producer of Spencer Rodgers' Olson EP. Recorded in just one day, there is a sense of urgency in these recordings that does not otherwise exist in Erickson's usually painfully slow-cooked recording style. This is an album entirely unto itself, recorded on Brian's terms and no one else's, and done solely because he felt like doing it. |
