| Being a Brief Introduction- Not exactly a groundbreaking introduction, but I felt it was the best way to get from track one to track two. I was playing around in a production studio with some sound effects, and this is what came out. Thought I Knew You Well- Written in about 15 minutes. It's about a friend who was going through a really tough breakup. I just found myself able to identify with the situation, and out came this song. Through the Window- By far the most biographical song I've ever written. It concerns a girl that I was swooning over for quite a while. And I know that sounds very overdone, but that's just what happened. Do something! Joseph (the Weight of the World)- The first song I ever completed. It's a song about the quarter life crisis. Drive Down 495- A very contemplative song in the vein of Simon & Garfunkel. This song seems to have become the surprise "hit" of the EP, as it has garnered a great response! |
