CHATROOM WORDGUESS
RULES:

Overview:
In a nutshell, one person selects a word containing four letters.  The word should be a commonly used English word that does not contain contractions or use of a proper noun such as a person's name. Each player takes a turn guessing what the word is.

There needs to be an order in which players take turns.  The best method I can think of to accomplish this is to go by the order in which players appear in the chatroom's users list.

There should be an agreed upon time limit for a player's turn so I like to place a time limit of thirty seconds for each turn.  This eliminates the "marathon thinking" that can discourage the enjoyment of the game.

The person who guesses the word correctly thinks up the new word.

Players take turns guessing the word.

Each guess results in a numeric response.

The numbers indicate how many letters in the guess are in the actual word and how many are also in the same location within the word.

For example, if the word was SPOT and someone guess SPIT...the response would be THREE and THREE.  If someone were to guess the word POTS....the response would be four and zero.

This game was invented to pass the time on long road trips as a form of entertainment but has been adapted to use in a typical chatroom environment.
