Praslin and surrounding islands
Praslin
Location
Located about 40 km north of Mah�, Praslin is the second largest island of Seychelles. The island has a population of 5000 inhabitants.
General description
Praslin is a granitic island such as Mah�, but the mountains are less high and vegetation less abundant.
One of the most important nature reserves of Seychelles is the Vall�e de Mai, a World Heritage Site on the UN. It is the only natural habitat of the Coco de Mer, an endemic Palm tree.

Those 2 islands are located south of Praslin. Cousin is a national park and Cousine is privatly owned.
