| It has been a ride. I really didn't have any morning sickness for the first 8 weeks. But once I started having it, it was relentless. I definitely have been humbled by tossing my cookies at work, in restaurants, in the sink, almost on my desk at work! I am amazed at the growth that happens within the 1st trimester. I really don't like the books that say that you should still be in your regular clothes until the 2nd trimester. That definitely has not applied to me. Luckily, I haven't gained much weight. But i feel like you could roll me right out of the room. No real food aversions although sometimes, my body just says NO to some foods at various times. All in all, this first trimester has been a fun ride so far. Can't wait until the honeymoon period of the 2nd trimester. |
