Mission PRAYER Requests
Letter by Nia,an Intervarsity Member rasing funds for China--
Hi Everyone!
I hope all of you had a good weekend. I had my last STIM training weekend was this past weekend and it was awesome. (If you don't know what STIM is, it is Student Training in Missions; and I am getting trained then sent to China.) It was highly emotional, and I had so much fun. God was there and he was definitely speaking to all of us. I also felt as though God called me to write this email. What I wanted to say is I need your help, all of you.
First of all, we really need prayer. Our team has been through so much both as individuals and together, and this weekend we all got to depend on one another for encouragement and a listening ear. The big thing I need help with is in prayer. I regret not talking to everyone in a larger group setting about STIM more. We are still fundrasing if you were curious and there is still a long way to go. We still need to raise a little over $26,000 out of the $83,000 in total and we still need lots prayer.
This also leads to the next request or suggestion. If you could spare any funds for our trip I would apprieciate it. Even $1 could go I long way. Whatever you can spare. Thank you for everyone who supported me already. If you did not get a support letter please give me your address I have no problem sending you one, and if you want to give money email me with your address because I will need it. It gives more detail about STIM and my trip. If anyone has any suggestions for how they could help: fundraising strategies, people to contact, PRAYER, or anything; please let me know.
