| Lighthouse (one mans rescue) shaken like a rag doll in life's black waves adrift, on the great grey ship of uncertainty- his heart's become a stranger, bound to the beat of the pounding rain and the call of icy dreams mark the lonely miles wandered on this unforgiving sea- and his resolves turn steely blue, as torrent waves crash over head, and a heavy fog shrouds him hanging like dread in his weary soul while above, the lacerated sky bleeds crimson tears- for something he missed along the way and when the sting of the sea-spray burned his eyes more than he could bare he squinted, his narrowed vision much like his hope but before him was a faint light pushing her way through the enduring mists and raging hailstorms, and she sung her message through whispers within that subtle glow, he steered his ship straight to the port and her light spilled over drawing back the shade and now each night she holds him tight within the long and loving embrace of her warm harbor light. |
