Branches off the Family Tree
My Grandfather, William Philo,
his wife Ellen and twin daughters Winnifred (my mother) and Margaret.
He was a bronze medalist for Boxing,
in the Olympics Games,
but was killed during the
Battle of the Somme, WWI.

The two John Testers made some of the first films in England. They included soldiers returning from the Crimean War and Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee. Unfortunately, most of them were lost during bombings in WW II
This is my great-grandmother,
Elizabeth Coleman.
This picture was taken around 1920.
Her 10 children were
Campbell, Anne, John, Eliza,
Jenny, Laura, Edgar, Marcia,
Nellie (my grand-mother),
and Percy.
Her husband, John Coleman, was an engineer in in charge of bulding the elevator in the Eiffel Tower.
