Eric in Egypt (埃及)

Description : 
Eric and his friends at one of
the "Seven Wonders of the
World" ( 世界七大奇景之一 )
and the symbol of Egypt : 
the Pyramids ( 金字塔 ) and
the Sphinx ( 獅身人面像 )

Description :
Side view of the Sphinx
( 獅身人面像 ) ~~ in order to
maximise its surface protection,
tourists like us are not allowed
to go anywhere near this ancient
structure. ( My several attempts
to break into the restricted
area had all failed .... haha .... )

Date : 13th June, 1999

Description :
Just 4 km to the west of the
Nile River is the Valley of the
Kings ( 帝皇谷 ) ~~ behind me
is one of the 62 tombs of the
Pharaoh Kings ( 法老王陵墓 )
discovered in there so far.

The weather was extremely hot
in there, and a temperature of 
42 degrees C was recorded by
my G-Shock !!

Description : 
In front of the entrance of the
Egyptian Museum ( 埃及博物館 ),
which was built in 1858 A.D.

This museum contains more than
100,000 pieces of important
cultural treasures of Egypt ~~ 
including a large number of
ancient statues, the accessories
of the Pharaoh Kings ( 法老王 ), 
as well as the Mummies ( 木乃伊 )
