B&Bīs Susan Flannery (Stephanie). It was a banner year for legendary divas and were it not for Flanneryīs supreme work as a tough-ass matriarch facing physical collapse we might have chosen Erika Slezak, Jeanne Cooper, Linda Dano, Genie Francis or Finola Hughes. But itīs time for the other long-ignored Susan (the first being Susan Lucci) to get the gold. Letīs hope the Emmy voters, who tend to dismiss B&B, get off their high horses and do the right thing.
