Clarence chatted with some Y&R actors and actresses at the afterparty of the 29th annual Daytime Emmy Awards, that was held on Friday May 17th 2002.
Clarence: This is Clarence, Iīm kicking and living with Susan Flannery, the winner of the best actress award in the 29th annual Soap Opera Awards. How do you feel, darling?
Susan: I am so happy. (laughs) I am so
I totally didnīt expect it. I had just turned to Ian Buchanan and said I hope itīs Finola, I hope itīs Finola and he stood up and said Itīs you!. And I went (shocked look).
Clarence: They sounded like, look here, they sounded like they said Susan
Lucci.
Susan: I know.
Clarence: And she started out on the stage.
Susan: I know, I heard. I heard later.
Clarence: Yeah. Come here, Tracey Bregman on the house. Whatīs going on, baby? How you doing?
Tracey: Iīm doing well, thank you. How are you?
Clarence: This is Lauren Fenmore on the young and the restless.
Tracey: Thatīs right.
Clarence: So, youīll be back with us for a while, sugar?
Tracey: Well, Iīve been back for about 9 months now, but
Clarence: Well Iīm saying thatīs not long enough.
Tracey: Thank you. You know, I hope itīs longer.
Clarence: All right, weīre looking forward to seeing more and more girl, cause you girl bring a lot of flavor to the program.
Tracey: Thanks
Susan: Tracey Bregman Recht is my good luck charm. (Tracey laughs) When she comes to New York, I win.
Clarence: Oh.
Tracey: Iīm two for two.
Clarence: Two for two!
Tracey: Thatīs right.
