Stephanie was rushed to the hospital (still wondering how Macy didn´t heard the ambulance next door!)

Thorne called Ridge there ASAP. Ridge went in to the room and asked his mommie to hang in there.

Thorne finally tracked down Eric, who was at the mansion looking at a photo of him and Stephanie while drinking coffee and chatting with the maid (you know, normal activities…) Eric bolted from the mansion when he got Thorne´s call and left the phone hanging with Thorne wodering where he went. (I wonder if Helen hung up the phone…?) Eric rushed over to the hospital and sat with Stephanie. He told the comatosed Stephanie how he wasn´t prepared for this and how she wasn´t about to leave him now.

Eric kept talking about family and how he had been such a fool to ever leave her. We all knew what was about to happen…

After a few days, Stephanie finally woke up when Brooke came to visit. It was a funny scene with Brooke talking about her and Thorne and suddenly came a hand around her throat… Guess who was awake? But Stephanie wasn´t quite herself. She was half paralyzed, had trouble talking, had bad shortmemory and had sightproblems (normal stroke symptoms). She was devastated over that, but appeared to accept it in front everyone. But Eric saw she was having a difficult time and tried to help her get over it and focus on getting better.

The doctor informed them that Stephanie would need a full time nurse looking after her when she got home which Stephanie didn´t like. Eric told her he had already found someone. Who, she asked? Me, he replied as she laughed thinking he was joking. But when she realized he was serious, she tried to talk him out of it saying she would need an awful lot of care and attention. He said she needed that before too and he didn´t give it to her then. He would now. So that was decided.

The doctor left and Eric told her how he felt about her and asked for another chance. Would she give him that? What do you think? Of course. And they were back together!
