They got to talking about their past and how blessed they really were. She only wished their marriage had survived. And they discussed why it had ended. Eric admitted that he didn�t really know why it had and had come to the conclusion that he couldn�t dwell on the past. But Stephanie felt she needed an answer so she could move on with her life. Eric assured her he didn�t divorce her to find youth again or something like that. He speculated that he had gone through a phase where everything looked greener on the other side of the fence, but reckoned that it never is. He hadn�t found was he was looking for, not with Brooke and certainly not with Sheila! (No, I imagine not�) Steph asked about his most recent romance (Lauren, but Steph didn�t know it was her). He said that that was no longer an issue as it was over.
Later, Stephanie asked if he had ever though about them again. That maybe there was a reason they were alone in the house. She quickly realized it was a silly thing to say, but he stopped her, saying he would be the judge of that.
Lauren was at Spectra talking to Clarke about Eric and Stephanie. He wanted her to come clean with Stephanie about her feelings for Eric. But she wasn�t so sure since Stephanie would feel betrayed. Clarke said Stephanie would feel even more betrayed if the truth comes out later and she never said anything. That convinces Lauren to speak to Stephanie. She picked up the phone and called. But no one was picking up� We see the phone in Stephanie�s bedroom ringing. It stops ringing as the camera reveals why no one is answering the phone�
Yes, folks. Stephanie and Eric were back together again. Just in time for the 10th anniversary.
The morning after was such a hilarious episode. (I don�t have any screen caps, but here�s a recap of what happened).
Ridge and Claudia was in the kitchen for breakfast. Stephanie came down to fix a breakfast plate. She admitted it wasn�t for her, so that made Ridge curious. Especially since it wasn�t for Thorne either. He figured out it was for an overnight guest. Ridge was very curious on who it was. Stephanie was teasing him by not revealing who it was. When asked who the food was for, Eric walked down (also in a robe) and hoped it was for him. Eric kissed Stephanie and Ridge�s chin was on the floor!
Ridge said �you didn�t stay the night�?� and Eric asked if he hadn�t spent the night, teasing a very nosey Ridge who wanted to know where in the house Eric had slept. Eric & Stephanie dodged his questions and realized he must be so darn nosey because of all time Ridge spent with Eric�s mom growing up. Ridge gave up and asked right out if they were back together. Eric & Steph dodged the question again, which led Ridge to believe they were. (Very funny two scenes indeed.)
