Brooke asked her to fight for her life as many people needed her. Included Rick and Bridget. Do it for the children, Brooke asked. Somehow, a visit from an enemy pleading her to fight gave Stephanie the will to live back.

Stephanie was very greatful for Brooke for what she had done and thanked her – with a hug! Didn´t see that one coming, did you?

Stephanie hung in there. After a talk with Brooke, Sheila realized Brooke didn´t want to see Stephanie like that. So she had to do something. She went to James´ office and while he didn´t notice, she put up a page in his medicine book about mercury poisoning. James saw the page and realized Stephanie had all symptoms. After the discovery, the trace was lead to the “calcium” pills and with the right treatment, Stephanie was soon back to her old self. No one could ever prove Sheila was behind the poisoning.
