The party for Eric

Ridge and Brooke thought it would be a great idea to have a party for lonesome Eric. The purpose of the party was to find a new woman for him. Little did they know about Eric and Taylorīs new fling (thank God that one ended soon thereafter! Hated it from the first second since I liked Taylor and didnīt want her to ruin her relationship with Steph to be with Eric.) Eric invited Taylor to the party, but she sent the model Samantha, who had a crush on Eric, wearing the dress Eric had designed for Taylor to wear. Eric got a letter from Taylor while at the party, saying she had left town to think. Eric was disappointed but after a talk with Rick, he decided to enjoy the evening. He started off by dancing with Sally Spectra, who also had a crush on him. She was on cloud nine while Stephanie wasnīt very amused. She went to talk to Sally and told her in not so many words that she was making a fool of herself since Eric wasnīt interested in her. Sally got upset and was more determined than ever to spend the night with Eric.

Eric continued to dance with Brooke, Lauren and almost every woman in the room while Stephanie looked on from a distance together with James who asked why she wasnīt joining in for some fun. But she decided to wait (always the strategist). Eric took a little break from all fast dancing as the evening calmed down to night. Samantha walked up to Eric with some coffee and offered to drive Eric home. He told her he might take her up on it before Stephanie walked up to them. Eric told her they hadnīt danced and asked her out to the empty dance floor as Samantha frowned (haha!).

They started dancing to what seemed to be the only slowdance of the evening as everyone looked on, including Samantha and Sally who werenīt very happy about that knowing they had been beaten by Ms Queenie.

While slowdancing, they talked about how good it felt to really know each other completely and how they always would. He also thanked her for tonight and how he needed it. She knew something was bothering him but didnīt push him into telling her what it was. They felt it was nice to have someone they didnīt have to hide anything from and a person who wouldnīt judge them. So she hadnīt judged him while he was playing a party animal, he asked? No, she hadnīt. Cause she loved him. He gave her a kissed her on the forehead and they continued to dance as Ridge and Thorne were smiling at each other from across the room (arenīt they cute?!).

The next morning, they woke up together in Ericīs bed. Eric seemed to have forgotten about what had happened since he started partying the evening before. But everything was all right. He started to remember how he mixed champagne and martini and he was the one who asked her to stay over night. They both agreed on not asking the question “where do we go from here”.
