Despite Rick´s plead, Amber still was determined to marry CJ, a guy she was never in love with (just great, Amber!). Rick was hell-bent on finding Deacon Sharpe so he could sign over custody of little Eric on Rick. That way, Amber wouldn´t marry CJ (right he was). So while Ricky played detective, Eric and Stephanie headed down to the church to stop Amber from making a huge mistake.
They managed to sneak inside without being caught by guard dogs Spectras. They again asked Amber to get her senses back in order and follow her heart.
But loser Amber chose to marry CJ anyway. But before the vows, Rick showed up with Deacon and Amber ended up going back to Rick. CJ was alone again (and shortly thereafter disappeared into nowhere for 1,5 year).
