Aftermath of Macy´s death

Not long after Becky´s tragic death, it was time for the year´s second tragic death. This time of the beloved Macy Alexander Forrester. (Poor, poor CJ. First his wife then his sister… No wonder you are grumpy!) Macy died in a car crash. To make the story short: Thorne wanted to divorce alcoholic Macy to be with Brooke. Macy ended up taking Brooke´s car to get away from her and she crashed into a gas truck with in the passenger seat. Brooke survived with a headinjury while Macy was blown up in pieces as the car exploded. Sally, Clarke and CJ naturally blamed Brooke and Thorne, but also the entire Forrester family (who didn´t know what was going on and was completely innocent in Macy´s death. And just for the record, I do NOT blame Brooke OR Thorne for the ACCIDENT.)

Stephanie didn´t know Brooke and Thorne was a couple again and couldn´t understand why Sally was so angry with the Forrester family. She insisted that they all loved Macy. She was even more confused when they weren´t invited for the funeral, not even Macy´s husband Thorne, who was hell-bent on going despite what Sally said. Stephanie and Thorne headed over for the church as Eric, Ridge and Taylor realized they had to prevent Stephanie from finding out about Thorne & Brooke from Sally. They feared Stephanie would not survive that kind of information after everything that had happened recently (her stroke, Amber´s betrayal, the Morgan situation, Becky´s death and Macy´s death)

So Ridge and Eric raced over to the church to get Stephanie out of there before Sally could spill the beans. Spectras were outraged when Thorne showed up and told him to go to hell. Stephanie stood up for Thorne saying he loved Macy. Sally told Stephanie that Thorne didn´t love Macy – he killed her. Then, the Forresters showed up and made the situation worse. They tried to drag Stephanie away from there as Steph told them to back off while she set Sally straight.

But Sally ended up telling Stephanie all about Brooke and Thorne. Steph was horrified and lashed out at Thorne. Now, Thorne was lashed out at by everyone (poor guy!). Stephanie hugged Sally and told her she was sorry. Ridge then took his mother away, but before they were out of the church, Stephanie collapsed in Ridge´s arms to everyones surprise. Eric and Ridge tried to wake her up, but she was out.

Next episode started at the hospital with Eric, Ridge and Dr Cannon. A worried Eric wanted some answers on his wife´s condition, if she was going to paralyzed again. Dr Cannon said he would explain inside Stephanie´s room. Eric and Ridge went in as the doctor gave a dramatic look… Eric walked into the room and after a few seconds of not knowing if she was okay, Steph held up her arms and happily told him to come over. She was okay! They kissed and hugged as Ridge looked on and smiled his “I´m so happy my parents are together” smile.

Dr Cannon explained Steph has suffered a TIA (a kind of a mini stroke, which lasts for a few minutes before passing and you are back to your old self again). The kind doctor told them he was increasing her medicine and that she couldn´t take any more stress!! (Easier said than done…)

Stephanie swore that she would make Brooke pay for Macy´s death. Eric wasn´t happy about it since that would bring extremely much stress to her life. He told her she was NOT going to do anything cause he was NOT going to lose her.

So Stephanie decided to confront Thorne and make an ultimatum. It was the family or Brooke – he couldn´t have both. Brooke came there and Thorne chose Brooke. Fine, then Thorne no longer had a family. Eric and Ridge agreed and the three of them left. (Poor Thorne… He later reunited with his family AND married Brooke, so it worked out for him – until Stephanie was proven right when Brooke left Thorne to chase after Ridge AGAIN!)
