Becky Moore fast became someone the Forresters took in as one of their own. She was a very sweet and loveable girl who just happened to be Amber´s cousin. (I´d rather had seen Amber die instead of Becky, but that´s just my opinion…) Anyway, Amber found out Becky was dying from cancer and was already in stage 4 when nothing could be done to save her life. Amber wanted her ‘cous’ (that nickname always bugged me!) to have a few more weeks of happiness before she found out about the tragedy. So Amber played everything was fine while Becky went on living happily, with some major stomachaches that worried her.
Amber couldn´t (who could?!) keep this information all to herself and told Stephanie all about it. (Good move, Amber since it got Stephanie to forgive you for your baby switch schemes). Stephanie and Amber teamed up to make Becky´s life as good as possible. Including a birthday party for little Eric – the first and only birthday Becky would be able to spend with her precious cutie of a son. (How tragic!)
Stephanie set up the party in the mansion and invited everybody in the family – even Brooke, Sally and Clarke (the two latter couldn´t make it there). Eric got suspicious when he found out his wife had invited Brooke AND Amber (I would have been too). He wanted to know why on God´s earth Steph had invited Amber after everything she had done. Stephanie was silent which naturally only made Eric more curious.
Eric later saw Amber and Stephanie hugging and exchanging concerned looks. He was the only one who put two and two together and took Stephanie aside for a while. Was Becky ill? He learned the tragic news and agreed not to say anything.
CJ was very happy for Becky and even apologized to Stephanie for his rude behavior the year before. Mission accomplished, Becky had a wonderful evening with her son, boyfriend and the entire family.
It wasn´t long after that when Sally, Clarke and CJ found out about Becky´s situation. CJ was heartbroken (poor guy) and decided to continue what the others had done. He now wanted to marry Becky before she died. After some talking into it, Sally and Clarke accepted it.
Becky found out she was dying and thanked everyone who had helped in making her last days on earth so wonderful. Becky later died in CJs arms. End of story.
