
Jeff Trachta took over the part of Thorne Forrester on B&B in 1989 from Clayton Norcross. He stayed with the show for seven years until he was let go from his contract and Winsor Harmon was taken in as the youngest son of Eric and Stephanie on the show.
Jeff has released two albums with Bobbie Eakes (ex-Macy, B&B) and both was number 1 on the Dutch charts. Jeff has also released albums of his own and in concentrating his career on musical theatres. He played the part of Danny Zuko in the Broadway production of Grease. Trachta received awards for his one man play Agency which ran for over a year in Los Angeles. And he got great reviews for his part of Kenny in the play Three guys naked from the waist down. For that, he won the 1998 Dramalouge Award for best comedy performance.
His other theatre roles include The phantom in Phantom of the Opera, Birdie in Bye, bye Birdie, the dentist in Little shop of horrors, Andy in Love Letters and Prince Charming in Cinderella.
For TV, Jeff has guest-starred in an episode of V.I.P., the Pamela Anderson series. He has also had roles on Loving and One life to live. He co-produced and starred in the film Interlocked (aka A Bold Affair) with other B&B stars (Schae Harrison, Sandra Ferguson and Maitland Ward).
Jeff lives in Los Angeles with his dogs. He has blonde hair and blue eyes.
