Jacob Young played the part of Eric Forrester Jr, son of Brooke Logan and Eric Forrester on the bold and the beautiful from 1997 to 1999.
Music is the big passion in 21 year-old Jacobīs life. He has recorded a CD and writes his own songs.
He lived with his step-mother until the age of 15 when she passed away. Jacob went to live in a fosterhome before moving to San Diego where his biological mother lived. He managed to put himself into private school with money he earned from working in a Den.
Young Jacob decided to give his best to what he wanted to do in life, and short thereafter he landed the part of Rick on B&B. He left the show in August 1999 to move on with other projects. His role was recast with Justin Torkildsen.
In 1999, Jacob earned an Emmy nomination for his work as Rick Forrester, an award he didnīt win. After leaving B&B, he got a part on General hospital as the recast of the role of Lucky Spencer. There he earned an Emmy nomination in 2002 and competed against Justin Torkildsen in the Younger Actor category.
