Date: 1992-1995.
Jack and Stephanie became friends as they met. A friendship they led to a romance. Stephanie decided it was time to give up her dreams for a reunion with Eric. She told Eric about her growing feelings for Jack which Eric supported. He slipped her wedding ring off of her finger and they shared a kiss good-bye. Stephanie and Jack became more serious. But Jack had secrets from Stephanie. He had been a gambler and owed much money to some loan sharks. And they meant business. They threatened Felicia�s life (Stephanie�s daughter who was romantically involved with Jack�s son). Jack headed to Las Vegas to try and win some money that could repay the depths he owed. He managed to do it. But that wasn�t the only secret he kept from Stephanie. He hadn�t told her about his job. He worked for Spectra Fashions and had gone on a date with Sally. Jack finally told Stephanie about everything and she was very upset about it. She ran to Eric with it and he comforted her and let her stay at his place over the night. The morning after, Eric paid Jack a visit. Eric was furious with Jack and ended up punching Jack so he fell to the floor bleeding.
Stephanie broke up with Jack and as he had been drinking, he turned to Sally which he later regretted. Sally wanted Jack and was willing to trick him to get his attention away from Stephanie and on to her. Sally told Jack she was pregnant. She took him home with her to actually get pregnant, but Stephanie found out what Sally was plotting and stopped her. Jack was angry with Sally for her stunts and left her. Stephanie and Jack later reunited. But their relationship faded out as Stephanie�s feelings for Eric once again blossomed.
