01/08/01 - This is my first entry.  I stole this idea from Ban.  I wonder if what the post-modernists say is true that everything is really just a copy of something else?  I wonder what Ban thinks about that?  Should I really have ended those last two sentences with a question mark?

04/15/01 - Happy Easter!  I'm trying to figure out what job title to put on my resume for my position at Animal Rescue Inc.  Animal Caretaker or Caregiver.  Shouldn't those two words have opposite meanings?  What IS the difference?

09/12/01 - The morning after.  What is going to happen now?  Unfortunately, I am not optimistic that our country will react entirely rationally.  Will more innocent people need to die in the name of retaliation?  As shocked as I am, I am not surprised that people could be that angry with our country in the face of what we do to other countries in the name of Capitalism (hidden behind Freedom).

02/05/02 - I am about to attempt to find out how few material things I can live with.  I hope my spirit is strong enough to counter the only culture I have known.

10/26/02 - April and I purchased our "own" piece of the world last week.  I am amazed at how great it feels despite the illusion of true ownership.  I may even be repressing guilt at our attempt to retain something against everything else

9/22/03 - I've decided on a title for my career goal for when it is deemed necessary by those that choose to identify me as such.  As a true philospher might put it:  "My Life" will now be my career.  I choose to make the process of living for me important enough to make my full-time occupation.  Otherwise, I'd rather not be called names or labeled as any thing that would cause someone to make assumtions about my character and beliefs.

02/09/04 - Those who deem others to posess lessor "intelligence" cannot grow.  Plato quoted Socrates as saying something to the effect of -- The wisest man is one who recognizes his own vast ignorance.

02/24/04 - a
poem I wrote in 1998

03/17/04 -
Passion of the Christ response: There appears to be a strong reaction to the representation of the painful sacrifice Christ made for our sins, so we may be saved.  People die everyday for (because of) our sins.  Instead of accepting the concept we will always be sinners we should each own our wrongs and do better by them.  We all have the capacity to know what's right; however, our complacency allows us to continue to commit the same wrong doings.   Well shoot, in doesn't really matter we believers are going to heaven anyway, right?.

04/14/04 - Warning: Stupid People are Breeding!

10/19/04 - So the presidential election is in two weeks.  What if it wasn't a popularity contest and everyone voted for the best representative of the public good?  What are your motivations for whom you cast your vote?

05/05/05 - Happy Birthday Marc!  Its amazing how similar AND different you can be from one person, but that's how I see my brother and I.  Next year, next month, tomorrow will be an interesting day.  Watch out for a lot of Pagan sex happening in four months time.

07/04/05 - I miss April.

09/11/05 - The disaster at the World Trade Center, Pentagon and in PA was four years ago and things seem to be worse today as we look at the response to hurricane Katrina on the gulf coast.
