Arslan

The Diplomat and the General. The Painter and the Fighter. What's not to like about the Narsus and Darun pairing? Both so passionate about their duty, strong willed and honourable...not to mention both incredibly good looking ;)

After watching Arslan, I couldn't help but see the potential between the two, and then I stumbled on Ladyglen and Roo's fiction and I was totally hooked. Unfortunately their works have made me incredibly picky when it comes to Narsus/Darun fics, and it doesn't help that there's not much Arslan fiction out there in the first place!

It seems Roo and Sahari have let their sites go - but if anyone can point me to an achive with these fics, or a new site, please let me know!

His eyes are on me; I can feel them boring holes into my back. I know what he wants but I make him wait, taking a sip of wine instead. The tension between us is too sweet to break just yet.

A Simple Kiss
By Ladyglen
Three years ago, Darun drove Narsus away. Now, forced by matters beyond his control to finally face his past and his friend again, can he find a way to mend what was possibly the biggest mistake of his life?"

Perspective (Broken Link)
By Roo
Darun desires Narsus, and sometimes it seems that Narsus returns that desire. But how can they ever hope to become closer when all they ever seem to do is fight? Are they simply too different? And will one's judgement of the other spoil everything?
Romance, political intrigue, angst, sap - what more could you ask for?

Coronation (Broken Link)
By Sahari
He and Daryun had talked about it in length. The two older men had dedicated their lives to Arslan's development, and watched him grow into a young man they could not help be proud of. And as Arslan had grown into a tall beautiful man, shoulders broadening, voice slightly deepening, Narsus had caught that look in Daryun's face . . . not lust exactly . . . helpless fascination. They both had loved each other, and him, for years, but that platonic love for the young king was slowly turning into something else.

Narsus and Darun (Broken Link)

It is as if the archetypes are right here with you, the Sage and the Warrior, except that you know them. They're real, and they're having a heated argument while we study the map in the war room.I can tell that we've all long since ceased to pretend to get anything done. The Argument now has captured out attention.
