  • Erabus has finished recording their album tintively called A Journey Beyond Reality. We hope to have it out later this year, all we have to do is mix it. We've had three gigs at the White Rabbit so far, since we've come into this line up. We have a few more gigs lined up soon, so keep an eye on the gig posting.

  • Well we had our gig at Crazy 8's Friday night and may was it an experience. As special guest and main act Erabus invited FAMINE to play also. Well the show started around 11pm with Erabus taking the floor, and rocking for close to an hour and ten minutes. Everyone was rocking to their set. Then around 12:45 or so FAMINE took the stage, and played until almost 2am. All Erabus can say is thanks to Crazy 8's for letting us play and rebooking us, and good luck to FAMINE.

  • Well, we had two gigs this past weekend. One at the White Rabbit (2410 N. Saint Mary's), and one at Crazy 8's. The one at the Rabbit was kinda cool, cuz we were the only band playing on the back stage that night so they told us to play as long as we like. We planned to play all night, but unfortunately Danny broke a bass sting at the end of our first set, so we called it a night. It was cool though, cuz we got to check out most of the other bands playing that night which included METHANE, Double Bladed Maniacs , Bitter Harvest , and Zero the Hero.
Crazy 8's was also cool, cuz we opened up for MEEK. There were a lot of people there, and both bands did really well. We took the stage around 10:30pm and played for about an hour and a half. Then MEEK took the stage right after us and played until about 1:15am. The crowd really enjoyed both bands.
Erabus would like to thank both clubs for letting us play, the bands that we played with for the support, and the fans for just being cool.

  • Well I've been behind on the times so let me catch you all up to date. We've had two shows since the last update and they were both at Alley Cats in Sunset Station. One was on September 28th, and we had a mild crowd that time. It was a good show though. The second one was on October the 5th and we had a great crowd. We got to play right across the street from where Creed was playing and the concert let out right before we went on stage. A lot of people showed up. We rocked the crowd for a little over 45 minutes. We would like to thank our good friends from FAMINE for just so happening to show up and support us. We would also like to thank Sunset Station for having us, and the fans for coming out and supporting us.

  • It's been a while so I'll get right to it. Erabus just recently finished creating two new songs and premiered them at our last show which was at Medieval Knights. Before I go any further, we would like to give thanx to MK for everything. Tuesday's show started off with a little confusion due to the fact that Contortion unfortunatly did not show up, maybe next time fellas. The turn out for the night was pretty good for a Tuesday evening, some of Paul's amigos arrived for what turned out to be a rockin show. But more importantly they showed up with tickets. The new songs that were played were BY MY SIDE, THE VALLEY OF KINGS.

  • To all of the Erabus Minion that missed Saturday's show, you missed a doosey. Due to sound problems from the house system(thanx Rabbit) we went on about 15 minutes late, and got cut out of two songs. Though this was bad, it was the only bad thing during the show. Erabus rocked for the time that we was given. Come see the next show on Dec. 12th and see for yourself.

Last minute gig addition says that we will be performing at the White Rabbit on December 30 with Raw, Indica, Censoreyes, Cinderleaf, Burnout, Spiral, Drip, Sinisterhyde, Die Daily, and Drughoney. I am sorry if I left any band out or spelled a band name wrong. Drive safley over the holidays, and groupies form a line to the right.

  • I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but due to a booking and ticket mistake Erabus won't be playing at the White Rabbit on December 30th. All I can say is they gave us tickets with the wrong date on them. Keep these tickets though, cuz they will get you in FOR FREE on Jan. 4th at the Rabbit. It sucks learning this on such short notice, but we only found out tonight.

  • Hello to all in the land of Erabus, a big change has come about. Due to personal differences within the group Paul is no longer a participating member. The choice came to view and the decision was joint. Paul will be missed and we wish him all the best of luck in the future. We do feel that he would want us to continue putting out music that people can enjoy and he will always be a member of the Erabus family. The remaining band members are pulling themselves together and will be holding auditions for a keyboardist and rhythm guitar player with experience, own transportation, and eqiupment. If you are interested in auditioning contact Eric via e-mail at [email protected]. We are also in the process of writing new material so we can go into a studio and record a new full length CD.

First off we would like to give a big thanx to Brian(Eric's classmate at Hallmark) for setting up last Sundays gig. We played right after the Super Bowl ended. We would also like to congradulate Lovecraft for their first public gig outside of playing parties. Lovecraft played during halftime and did reall good job; way to go DJ, Anthony, Nikki, Rob, Eric, and they will play again at the White Rabbit on Feb 9. Right now we are in the middle of creating another song and tonight we will be at Medival Knights booking gigs for March, hope to see you out there. Remember, support your local bands. Until next time take care.

The pictures were taken by our friend Elaine, who is also updateing the website. She has even been so kind as to help create the new flyers for the gig on Friday 13. We now also have tickets in conjunction with the flyers, so if you would like to go to the show and don't have a dollar off ticket e-mail us your mailing address and we will send some out to you right away. Also, if you are a member of the band known as GLAMDEN we would like your e-mail address so that we can hook up a link. In other news, a big fucking congradulations goes out to Eric for graduating from Hallmark. He has been busting his ass to make the grades and he finally did it, way to go amigo. Well that's all for now until next time, we'll see you in HELL.

  • O.K. this is what happened in case any of you missed the show on Friday the 13th. Erabus was there on time as always, and things were looking good. But things went wrong during sound check. The only problem was that there was no sound coming out of the main speakers. The floor monitors were working just fine. So the sound guy keept going back and forth from the sound board to the stage trying to figure out what the problem was. Eventually he just left. Now this put us back about an hour and because of that all the other bands were pushed back. Once 10'o clock finally came around the former sound man told us to go ahead and start playing and he would try to fix the situation while we played; and he did. Luckly we got to play our whole set. It was one of our worst shows ever. We just hope that our next show on MAY 5th with FAMINE, and BLOOD OF THE SOUTH will be much better.
