| I Run To You Part Three 2 years later "So tonight's the night, huh?" Nathan Walters asked a very nervous Jason. "Yeah, I hope she says yes." "Like you really think she wouldn't?" Gabe Combs laughed. "Hey you never know." "What time you picking her up?" Nate asked. "In half an hour." "Got the ring?" "Yes Nate, I have the ring." Jason rolled his eyes. "Just looking out for ya buddy." "I know. Alright, I gotta get going. I'll see ya'll later tonight." He heard a chorus of goodlucks and we'll pray for you's as he walked out of the hotel they were staying at near Emily's house. 30 minutes later he arrived at her house. Later on that night, he took her for a walk on the beach, where they had gone after there very first date and where they had shared their first real kiss. "Tonight has been great Jason." "I'm glad you're enjoying yourself." "How could I not? I'm with you." she smiled. "I love you." he said, stopping. "I love you too." she responded, kissing him quickly. "Hey, can I ask you something?" he asked. "Anything." she replied dreamily. "OK." He reached into his pocket, pulling out a small velvet box as he lowered himself onto one knee. "Oh my goodness....Jason..." she trailed off, covering her mouth with her hand. "Emily Marie Clark, you are the love of my life, and the best thing that ever happened to me after god. Nothing else could make me happier than if you would become my wife. So please, will you marry me?" Tears sprung to her eyes as she shook her head yes. "Yes! Yes! Yes!" she finally got out once she could speak. Jason hopped up and swung her around in his arms. "Thank you." he said when he finally set her down. "No thank you." she replied. "Come on, let's go tell everyone." she laughed, still teary-eyed. Walking back to Jason's car they both that their marriage would last forever. They would always have each other and God to run to.
