Topic One: Elizabeth Coleman suggests in her play that marriage and a big wedding are still prized goals for many women. How are these ideas explored in the play and how relevant are they to you and your peers?
Part of my 'Secret Bridesmaids Buisness' Essay
You know what I don�t really think I have a point; the thing is I really wouldn�t know because I have never considered getting married nor had anything to do with weddings recently. I think that everyone in the movie was dumb making such a huge fuss a lot of stuff which was just total crap anyway! I mean what does it matter if one of the bridesmaids shoes have a sheen-finish, really I think that they are being rather self-centred! Who in their right mind would actually go to a wedding and spend the whole time looking at everyone�s shoes?! You go to a wedding to see the happy union of two people last time I checked. When you think about it the people who go to Megs and James� wedding probably wont even see this! They will see a tear stained bride and a groom who is probably thinking about another woman! If they had put less effort in to organizing the �perfect� wedding CEREMONY and more in to the actual relationship it may have been closer to the perfect wedding. I reckon Lucy had a point when she said that weddings force people to lie to one another, or what ever she said; because she is right you cannot guarantee that you will stay faithful to one person until death do you part. It sounds like I am being cynical or whatever but you never know what the future holds! Anything could happen, what if one of you contracts some kind of disease that like mangles their brain and turns them against you and the only way to save your life is to leave them and marry another! So what will you do eh? Stay true to your vows and die at the hands of your husband/wife?! Not likely. Also what if one of you goes missing? Have we all seen Castaway? He disappears and the chick marries someone else, meaning she went back on her marriage vows because he wasn�t actually dead! Or maybe they weren�t married? I really cannot remember��. You know I think I have gone off the topic I think I am going to re-read the question�.
Re-reading the question I realise that Elizabeth Coleman was not actually suggesting that marriage and a big wedding are a prize goal for many women because she did actually explore the different views of weddings of different women in her play, so she was not actually saying that it was a prize goal for MANY women she was just saying that it can be for some. See there is a big difference between the words many and some. Many means that there are lots, whilst some means that there are several. Now that I think about it I am realising that this is a really badly worded question! No offence to the English teachers or whoever, I doubt I could do any better because my English is no good!! But I must mention the part in the question asking how relevant Liz�s ideas explored in the play are to my peers and I��.um not at all! Who of us is even thinking about getting married�.apart from Bel but I don�t think that her ideas of a perfect wedding would be anything like Liz�s! Let alone thinking about having a big wedding and stressing over all the fine details! I really don�t think I can answer this essay question until it is reworded or changed. You know I think I will change it:
Topic Two: Elizabeth Coleman suggests in her play that women who are desperate to marry and want a big wedding are usually psychotic nuts. How are these ideas explored in the play? Make reference to nuts such as Colleen and Meg.
There that is better, something that I can actually write about. I think that teachers should really give us the option of making up our own questions; therefore we will actually have something to write about! The essays would be a lot more interesting at any rate and people may just be slightly enthusiastic about doing it, or at least put more than a half asked effort in to doing it!
My Macbeth Essay!

Do you think that the tragedy is the result of Macbeth�s own character, of external forces acting on him, or both.
Macfrikkinbeth is a loser and he just went around killing people to get what he wanted and I think that is him just acting like a two year old having a stupid temper tantrum just so he gets his own way� I mean the guy is supposed to be this big strong brave warrior that everyone loves BUT HE IS A WEAK LITTLE FREAK AND HE GETS EVERYONE ELSE TO DO HIS DIRTY WORK!!! And he thinks he is so good and stuff and thinks everything should be good for him I mean hasn�t the loser heard about KARMA?!?! Geeze if you go around murdering innocent people I doubt you would really deserve everything that you want!
When things go really wrong for him which we so know would happen he goes and has a sook about it and blames it on EVERYONE ELSE! �Aww I�m a big tough warrior and the witches and my little wife made me do it boo hoo its all their fault� He is such a moron I really hopes he dies or something in the end but I wasn�t paying attention so I don�t know! I am also suspecting he was on drugs. I mean the loser was always hallucinating and acting generally insane. Lady Macbeth was his supplier, she was a resentful housewife stuck at home while her husband was away fighting, so she turned to drugs (she showed signs of total insanity as well �OUT DAMNED SPOT!�) But then the demand got too big and she committed suicide, she just couldn�t keep supplying them all with drugs and still have some left for herself.
Meanwhile Macbeth was suffering depression from the gloomy weather it is a proven fact that being deprived of sunlight can make you depressed! So did you watch the movie? There was no sunlight! It was all gloom gloom gloom and with all the death going on it would have been heaps more depressing �so they are all doomed and no one cares. Also it was VERY unhygienic back then I mean did you see that dude taking a piss against the wall, and he acted like it was something that he did everyday! What a sicko! The whole setting looked pretty grungy, even in the pov bold and the beautiful version it looked pretty crap! That scene where lady Macbeth is getting a little excited on the bed did you see the bed?!?!!? It was this pile of grungy animals skins piled up on the ground! Ew! Yuck! BERGH! Anyway the whole thing makes me sick and I don�t like them sooooo �Macbeth, Macbeth you bore me to death!�
Sarina's fun ranting story for today!
well here is my story of what happened today! First I stayed up really late because the only thing I had to do was work at 4 so i thought it was pretty safe......THINK AGAIN! I got dragged out of bed by mum at like 8 then shoved off to the bleedin hospital to be x-rayed a million times by some RUDE nurse who kept shoving me around then when she finished she just walked off and i was stuck in this room that had 5 doors that looked exactally the same! I forgot which one i came in then when i finally found the right door I got totally lost and ended up being bailed up by some nurse who wanted me to pay her money so i ran away until i found mum! phew! Then i got home and I had to drive mum and sofi to mt barker which was all well and good because I like driving and I got to take my car! So anyway mt barker was boring as hell and I didnt get anything I wanted and I felt like crap cuz i was tired and sick and over x-rayated. FINALLY we headed home when OH YAY OH FUN my temp. gauge shot up steam stuff was pouring from underneath my bonnet and my car was making a great HISSING SOUND! I had to pull over on to the edge of the road and then FUN OF ALL FUNS when I looked underneath my bonnet i realised that my coolant had been leaking and I had none left and I didnt have any water or extra coolant in my car so yay I had to call dad to come save me! So i ended up waiting on the edge of the freeway for about 2 hours until dad came all the time freaking about me missing work! So I got home in time to drag on my DAMP uniform (i got it off the washing line) and I rushed to work and worked until 7:30! AH deadness! I was so tired I kept screwing things up more than I usally do! Well anyway that was dumb and ur all probably bored to tears and planning to assasinate me for putting this crap online but I needed to bitch about my stupid waste of a day!!!! Sorry!
