Kenny --

                  - Cha-cha
Kenny was born on May, 3, 2001. It was a bright sunny morning, 9:00 am, i spent the night @ my friend's, neighbor's house, i went out every 30 min. to check on Cha-cha. The poor girl, she wanted me to stay but i didnt want to bother her. Then morning came, no baby.... let me back track a second, the reason i knew she was ready to pop was because, when i went out to catch her to check on her she had white crust on her back legs, and she was spraying milk everywere. Ok so no baby. My mom just pulled up, we live 6 miles away from were we kept her. I looked out at her and she ploped down! I ran out she got up neighed and got back down, butt facing me. Then i could see the white, then feet, then a little nose! The birth was perfect. It was like she read my book on foaling... in fact that must be why there is molasas on the inside cover of that book...? hmmmmm. Any way, He was born pink, with blue eyes. He has a cute star and snip. We imprint trained him, I'm not doing that again! it may be good for horses going out to pasture for the time till they are weaned but geees he is worse than a dog!
Cha-cha has been the best mother. Almost to good. Even though she is almost completly blind, she always had her good eye on him.

From day one kenny knew how to lead. i sliped on his halter and gently pulled he reared once then he followed me everywere. Showing how smart he is.

Now i'm going to fast forward... (oh btw, when he was a weanling he had blue eyes and was a palomino.) When he was a year and a half we gelded him. He has't quite realised. So basicly i'm dealing with a stud. He is starting to realise he isn't, but he is getting a large neck and cheeks. he also bites but that can be cured.

Ok, now kenny is 2 and a half. He has
light brown eyes and is a cream color. He is being trained. We had a trainer come out and get him started, I got on him once and he wouldn't go no matter how much I tired. He did great, the first day and she was already working on troting. He is sooooo smart, ha ha ha, a bit to smart. He tries to get the better of you and out smart you.
So far this is his story, I will keep a journal about what I do so I can update  this. that will make my mom happy, lol. Signing out - Gabrielle.

update - 1/2/04 - I rode kenny today at a walk at first then i troted him, he has a wonderful trot, he really uses those shoulders :).
