From his earliest years in the forest  of his homeland Padeirain's life had been filled with tragedy. On a hunting trip his grandfather "Paddy" became lost in the woods, eventually he found his way home to the hearth tree, only to learn that his grandfather had been murdered by a gang of orcs while searching for him. Two years later his father died of a sudden illness braught by human missionaries. Then two years ago on the morning of his fifty sixth birthday his twin sister Elavindha vanished without a trace into the dark shadows of the woods. Padeirain knows that his sister is alive he can feal her presence somewhere in the world. This he tells himself is why he has come to be an adventurer. Up until now he had had little luck at finding his twin.
