Tailoring Guide

General:

Tailoring is the skill of sewing.  By use of a sewing kit and patterns, a tailor combines cloths and pelts to form new clothing and armor. Place the various items into the sewing kit, making sure not to stack anything, and press the combined button.  If you have any other information about tailoring, or you see an error, please contact me.

 

Things to Note:

·        Tailoring is a mid range expensive skill, depending on what you need to buy and make, with most items being found from hunting

·        For most items you will need a large tailoring kit

·        Tailoring is an excellent skill for monks, but is handy for warriors to mages.

·        Brewing (Heady Kiola), blacksmithing (metal studs & steel boning), and pottery (poison vials) are all helpful skill for a tailor, but are not necessary

·        Bear pelts produce large sizes, Cat pelts produce medium sizes, and Wolf pelts produce small sizes

·        Patchwork armor uses Ruined pelts (RQ), Studded armor uses Medium quality pelts (MQ), and Reinforced armor uses High quality pelts (HQ)

·        Cured Silk is specifically Monk only

·        Raw Silk can be used by Monks and Casters

·        With Tailoring you can often make other useful objects

 

Racial Tailoring:

          This form of tailoring can only be performed their respective races within the correct racial tailoring kit.
