Spell Research

General:

Spell Research is a skill used bye Wizards, Magicians, Necromancers, and Enchanters to acquire spells that they normally would not be able to buy at vendors.  It involved combining various research components in a container like binder.  If you have any other information on Spell Research, please contact me.

Things to Note:

·        Wizards use Lexicon as their container and Runes as their research component

·        Magicians use Elemental Grimoire as their containers and Words and other special items as their research component

·        Necromancers use Book of Dark Bindings as their containers and Words as their research component

·        Enchanters use Tome of Endless Enchantments as their container and pages of Grimoires, Writs and Tomes as their research component

·        Enchanters need Fades sheets, to turn them into usable components, place them in Tome of Endless Enchantments by themselves and hit combine

·        Casters can only start researching at level 16

·        At level 16 to 18, casters can only put 1 skill point into it but will give you a skill level of 16 to 18, respectively.

·        At level 19 casters can put between 4 to 5 points into the skill, depending on class.

·        At level 20, spell research skill point max at your level minus 15, multiplied by 5: (LV – 15)* 5 = Skill Cap

·        Recipes for lower level spells can be bought at vendors, though those recipes are in a different language

·        Using a Concordance of Research, it is possible to make practice rune, not be confused with wizard research runes, that will allow casters to practice Spell Research without loosing actual components

·        There are two types of practice runes, Azia and Beza

·        All practice runes require a quill and parchment each time, but the quill will always be given back, if you put in the right combination

·        To practice, you must combine the two different types of ruins, Azia and Beza, together in your class container; this will increase your skill
